In her senior capstone research project, Brooke Gardner ’24 conducted a content analysis of pre-, during, and post-Covid blog posts on the mental health site The Mighty. Her study examined the language of suicide and suicidal ideation in an effort to examine the negative–or positive–effect of the pandemic on readers’ mental health.
