My name is Ryan Dupree and I am a graduating senior At Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. Sociology has been my sole focus throughout my four years here at Gettysburg as I do not have any other majors or minors. I am from Rumson, New Jersey, a small town located along the Jersey Shore. I grew up and have lived in Rumson my whole life and plan to return back home after graduation and continue to look for work.

A short term professional goal of mine is to narrow down exactly what line of work I would like to pursue with one hundred percent commitment. I have worked at a bar and restaurant for the last four Summers and have seen liquor distributors and salesmen come in every day to connect and meet with the management at the bar. A salesman and specifically a liquor salesman has piqued my interest as something to look into and has become a short term career goal as I continue to navigate exactly what I would like to do professionally come post-graduation.

A long term career goal of mine is to find a profession and job that I not only enjoy, but one that also challenges me to do the best work I possibly can and contribute to the best of my ability. I believe that challenging myself and interactively working with others within my future profession are aspects that I will value highly in my long term working career. I believe it is important to find something that challenges me, allows me to utilize my social skills, as well as offers me the financial stability that is imperative in our society because one day I hope to get married and start a family.
