I used non-probability purposive sampling to get data from Twitter. I developed coding strategies using content analysis. I specifically chose two seasons, namely seasons 20 and 25. Examining these two seasons enabled me to contrast a diverse season, season 25, which included the first Black bachelor and various ladies of different racial and ethnic backgrounds. This is a sharp contrast to season 20, which lacked diversity in the women cast, and the guy picked as the bachelor. I analyzed the participants’ racial and ethnic origins in these seasons. By using a purposive non-probability sampling method, I wanted to look at and investigate the differences in diversity over many seasons, obtaining valuable knowledge on the show’s changing inclusiveness.
