Fiona Cheyney ’24, a Sociology and Anthropology double major, analyzed museum websites in order to better understand their decolonizing efforts in her senior capstone project, ‘Decolonizing Institutions: Museum Websites and Colonial Histories.’ Examining countries that had both colonized and been colonized, Fiona was able to chart differences among museums from nations involved in settler colonialism; exploitative colonialism; and internal colonialism.
