The content analysis of 55 New York Times articles reporting on sexual misconduct from 2012 to 2022 reveals a number of cultural shifts. Language surrounding sexual misconduct has evolved over the decade, which is likely related to the rise of the #MeToo movement in 2017. Sexual violence is more widely discussed and understood, though there is certainly more work to be done towards its reduction.
